Chinese man calls Thai women prostitutes sparking online outrage
Thailand is famous for sex work. Perhaps you haven't heard. Some NGOs put the number at 2 million, out of 15 million women between 24-54 years old. Do the math. https://www.notabandoned.org/freedomcenters Pattaya Freedom Center Pattaya is known as the sex trafficking capital of the world, sadly attracting over 12 million international sex tourists in a typical year. -

How tedious and expensive is it to close a small (tourism) company?
Consider an Asset sale. You sell the physical assets and retain the company rights. This is what is done with the purchase of bankrupt or failing companies or companies with legal issues. (Not a reflection on you or your company). Typically, the purchaser wants the inventory or some other property like a company brand name or location leases without the legal issues that attach to the company. In your case, you wish to monetize whatever the asset value is, while retaining legal rights that would protect you. A website, a lease, a client list, a general company name are all assets. This is an option to discuss with both accountant and legal counsel. -

Golden week: Chinese tourists to Thailand dip as baht bites
That can't be it. I've been reliably informed that most Chinese arrive on zero-dollar tours, paying all expenses in China in RMB, and no money ever reaches Thailand. -

Billy Eilish's "Birds of a Feather" - is it better than anything by the Beatles?
This is not "a" song. This is "the" song of 2024. This Billy Eilish may be wrong in so many ways, but as a songwriter and singer, this is by far the best you can get at this point. So original, playful, yet serious and substantive. And she can sing live. The harmonies. My God. Like getting high without Ecstasy. Rickrolled is so playeeeed, btw, that's like 4 years ago.- 1

Not-on-Tinder: I met some super nice guy yesterday in CM. A man with some class! Amazing.
The delusions, particularly the self importance is textbook perfect. It's as if someone read a textbook on geriatric mental health and then set out to mimic some of the conditions described in the textbook. It's just that I rarely meet anyone who has a touch of class.....and someone who measures up to my standards. That's nice, but does he measure up to their standards? Do they want to associate with him? I don't like to meet up with old women of class, of course.... Those old bags are just a total turnoff for the likes of me. Spoken like a movie caricature of a frustrated old Queen. This brings to mind a movie I have been wanting to see with some of my friends who are all Thai military veterans. Saving Private Tootsie (2002) - A group of Katoeys (ladyboys) are caught in a border dispute after their plane crashes, when a group of six straight soldiers reluctantly takes on a mission to save them. It starred the late Sorapong Chatree who was in the Ong Bak and Beautiful Boxer movies. Perhaps a change in medication to minimize the delusions? -

Paradise, anyone?
Rats! I diden't live according to the "laws" of a oriental (hebrew) God. Should I still make it thru the "pearly gates", I surely would hope to meet God. The first 2 questions I would want to ask God are: a) Which God are you? (We humans worship a multitude of Gods). b) Where you come from? Or, who made you? ------------------------------------- Quote: "I believe from faith, common sense and hope there's something better than all the sh*t we see daily. =This train of thought is the cradle of all religions ever dreamed up by man. I happen to believe that God diden't create us. We (our brain) created God. But, best not to argue about it. It's eighter one want's to "belive" or one wants to "know". -

Living in On Nut Sukhumvit 81
There is the former Onnut food court, moved to the bridge of Khlong Bangchin. Closes late in the evening, and is boring anyway. KaraOK near Lee Garden. The most popular places at night are the three 7/11. There used to be a streetwalker opposite KV, not sure whether she still works there. A python lives in the neighborhood, quite a big one. There used to be a free swimming pool, closed at night. At night you can swim in Khlong Bangchin and try to catch a lizard. If it's raining, you can also enjoy the flooding near the soi entrance. KV has a porch where you can sit and watch the traffic. The ice cream parlour (2 tables) has folded, unfortunately. You can chat with the motorcycle guys at the soi entrance, 24 hours. You see, it's an exciting area. A while ago, someone posted a video from some influencer. This guy found Soi 81 so exciting, he turned around and went to Soi 50 instead.
