This PM will go down in history as a TRAITOR to the Thai people.

Or more likely just the opposite.

He was forced to act, that's what happens in the top chair;

you sometimes have to make decisions you don't like.

Here is the CNN video just after he was shot

CNN link

It looks like a head shot for sure

This does not look like a "head shot" see below where Nation TV are stating "nape".

from

Thai Visa - Thursday's SITREP

TAN Network: TAN Network reporter does not see any military presence at Hua Chiew Hospital as earlier reported

TAN Network: Channel 11: Sae Deang taken for scans after being wheeled out of ICU

THE NATION: Only one bullet hit Seh Daeng's nape. #Nation TV.

THE NATION: Nation TV reporter who had a glimpse of Seh Daeng at Hua Chiew: His head is wrapped. He's wearing oxygen mask. Docs say he's unconscious.

@bangkokpundit: ThaiPBS reports that Seh Daeng was in ICU, but was taken for x-ray.

The video and images show that his head certainly is blood smeared but appears intact.

That's not even at Rajarpasong you dunce. This pic is from the route between democracy monument and Phan Fa bridge, and was taken when the Reds were doing their marches round the city weeks ago.

Redparrot...you really are!

Hmm, is anyone modding this thread? There are several posters who should be banned for their comments

Simon

Indeed. Some fine examples of disgusting human behaviour.

Here here !!

Hopefully many will get very long bans.

Video is on the way, but we are experiencing technical difficulties.

Update: At least 20 security officers injured when confronted by red-shirt protesters at Huachiew Hospital; officers agree to retreat from hospital

Absolutely best news about Daeng being shot. The triade of terrorists (Thaksin, Daeng, Arisman) should be taken out to remove the extreme elements hijacking a perfectly good cause (rights for the poor etc etc).

My inlaws, themselves from a disadvantaged upcountry background were literally dancing in the living room about this news.

Great strategy, not sure if the government can keep up the pressure or if it's going to turn into a complete mess again.

Too bad that the reforms being made (agricultural aide, loan packages, education reforms) aren't making headlines.

WOW, what kind of a fuc_king asshol_e you are man???

I am the kind of asshol_e who likes to see that innocent people who are taking advantage of by evil leadership are not hurt any further. I am not sure what in my comment offended you, but if it was the fact that I am not mourning the loss of a rogue terrorist armed guerilla leader, then, well...so be it.

Where did I say it was Rajprasong? You must be confusing me with one of the other voices in your head, buddy.

I'm not happy nor sad about this.

Fact is he was an instigator second to none.

I could be well over and cleared by tomorrow noon time. Maximum 3 - 4 days.

Seconded.

It depends if any can talk sense into the hotheads like Jatuporn and Arisman...

I think you mean hero!!!

Yes, even if he did order Seh Daeng's killing, which I doubt... It was just an effective way to take out the trash.

From what I've heard he is now know as the "Bangkok Butcher"

:)

Wait. No. The Hitler of the Neros of the Pol Pots.. Sounds even better, no?

Question: so storming the hospital where he stays now is ok, right?

Didn't this crap start when the military removed an elected government from office? Oh yeah, I forgot, the brillianat bastards in BKK determined the dumb bastards in the country weren't smart enough to vote. Someone tell me where else <deleted> like this happens? It does however, seem to me there are a number of countries on the planet where many dumb people vote (witness Obama) and they still find a way can change their government without stealing it, hijacking airports, or taking to the streets with weapons. I guess learning has never been much of a Thai thing, note how much history the average Thai is aware of. This country has no chance of ever being a player on the world stage. The only thing left to determine now is the final body count. So sad.

What makes you think Thailand wants to be a player on the world stage?

Thai Media now confirming Seh Deang is dead.

If true, he did not deserve any better... In the end, he was responsible for bringing in a private army to the protest site and certainly for some of the M79 attacks and shootings. The protesters would have been far better off without militants.

Really and truly too darn bad that it had to come to this. But if a message was to be sent to Thaksin, this was a good one. The guy was a disgrace to the institution of the military in all forms and especially to the country he was to serve. Most likely Seh Dang will now be seen as a hero for the cause of the reds. Whoever did it should have taken more people out to blur the obvious, that he was assassinated.

Clear everyone out of the areas now. Don't stop. Put Thailand back on track now.

I haven't read to the end of the thread yet, but thank you for that crystalising word. The man was indeed a disgrace, to the military, to his vows, to the people of Thailand, to his job, to a higher institution and to himself. Maybe he was just unlucky that there was no guerilla war going on his career. (His murderous behaviour in the south not-withstanding). I hope that the average citizen of this country can see his crimes even if they are red. Surely this violent fool cannot be made a martyr?

When the reds get rid of more of these idiots, the majority may start to listen to them. (Mind you, idiot 1 is still hanging in there).

and this is a distraction from the main topic but... Thailand will *never*. never, ever, ever... be a big player. they can't even be a big player in SE Asia. forget ever gaining "big player" status in all of Asia. it would take another 500 years. i'm saying that only because i live here. and this place is incredibly retarded from the top to the bottom :)

I can't believe all the people claiming it was the Military that shot the Terrorist. Surely nobody on this Forums was there and could not have seen anything. In short, there is only proof he was shot, but nothing to prove who did it. Some reports say the shot came from a building occupied by the Terrorists, so who really knows?

Blaming the Government or the Military is just irresponsible, and surely does not help to quiet the tensions.

If he was shot in the head with a high velocity round (from some distance) then he would not have much of a head left. Looks more like low velocity from close distance.

It looks like Thailand's rural poor are once again left with nothing out of this conflict. Seh Daeng has been shot, and with that, several key red shirt leaders are reportedly leaving the movement, disbanding the protests. Funny, how the government has only this morning said that the November 14th deadline was off the table. Now it looks like they'll be stuck again with no elections, not having their voices heard and their will respected.

Amazing Thailand indeed.

there will be clandestine fights emerging out of this mess, but will rather not so much interfere with peoples life in general. Anyway, dangerous times ahead.

Jutaporn, Arisman and a few others are marked as well, they'd better run and run and run ... nobody gonna help them, nobody!

Question is will Mr Abhisit have the balls to admit he ordered killing?

I doubt it bloody yellow skirt! yellow belly.

Probably try and fob it off on someone else.

So I assume with your vitriol and accusations that you have evidence of any sort whatsoever that Abhisit ordered the killing of Seh Daeng.

How very stupid! Who else do you think is responsible for this Somchai from the 7/11 down the road? Grow up man.

They should get to choose their own fate, unless you see the poor as unfit to vote and too easily taken advantage of, the cornerstone of Italian Fascism.

Wouldn't be surprising in a country where Democrats condemn early elections but rejoice at Military coups and assassinations...
