Anyone Cancel Their Flight With Airasia To Bkk?

Featured Replies

I'm supposed to travel to BKK from HKT on Wednesday, but now I'm thinking it might not be wise as staying on Sukhumvit close to the viollence. Has anyone cancelled and been allowed to rebook with AirAsia, or are they sticking by their T&C and not allowing any rebooking?

Air Asia stick to their T&C for everything.

it says on Air Asia's web page that they are allowing rebookings, with the cavaet that the ticket price might be higher on the new travel date.

I moved our dates back by a week and surprise surprise, there were no seats even close to the price I paid just a week ago. So for the 3 of us it is now 13K baht plus, where as before the change it was a total of 9200.

UPDATE

Due to scheduling and more conflicts in BKK, I tried to change to a week later only to see that now there is a 3900 baht change fee so total R/T for 3 is now 17+K baht HKT-BKK. What happened to their no change fee up to the 24th? Of course it's impossible to get through on the phone due to their free seats sale.
