The only leader that I hope is arrested ad soon is Arisman. I believe he is still behind some of the violence out there. So I hope everyone is helping to find him or he may be taken out by someone who is very upset about all the violence and fire

I am getting tired of reading that he has been arrested. Daily reports and then nothing. If they do not find him soon, he will be the new Robin Hood and get all legendary on us. Just what we need!

Maj-Gen Piya said he is being detained with other UDD leaders in Naresuan Camp, in Phetchaburi.

There is a lot of misinformation out there. I just heard on Thai Tv he is still at large

There is just an anouncement in the read only topic that they are still searching for him. However today,Thursday,I saw a thai language newspaper with a picture on the frontpage from which I think was Arisman leaded away by a policeman. The guy in the picture did wear a black poloshirt.Maybe someone saw the picture and can correct me if it was not him.

Detained, after a while denied. Desaparecido. Killed?

I hope so. The right punishment for a criminal like him

He probably got the idea from the monks at the red shirt encampments. Several were deemed to be fake monks, if reports are true. Those monks who were politically involved were told that they could be defrocked, wonder if that can be retroactive in Arisman's case? What a method to avoid/delay personal responsibility.

That sounds a little too convenient.. Trying to hide yet another extra-judicial killing perhaps?

Thai news this morning says he is still at large and suspected to enter the monkhood where he will be immune from prosecution.

If he is immune when a monk, then make sure he live like a monk to help poor someplace in far away village, that would be worse than jail.

But i doubt that will happen someone mad enough and will waste one bullet on him

Rumors that Arisman was arrested and taken to Naresuan Camp in Cha-Am was shot down by CRES. CRES stated that there was no report from the POlice, Government nor CRES to suggest that Arisman was captured.

Monks can still be prosecuted, there was a story about a monk commiting a crime (before the red protest), the police tried to make the monk give up his monkhood which he declined so they took him to the station with the monk clothing still on his back.
