Even this is "old News" too, this is exactly what Mr.Takhsin did, when he was ruling this country as a PM, with his PRIVATE buying power and very strong financial leverage, many, whoever dared to write or report in other media, even slightly critical about HIS adminstration, projects, HIMself, HIS Party, HIS Rulership found him/his company under intense pressure if not in a law suit that ad at least an eight or nine figure target!

Remember iTV, The Nation, the BP, the incident with the 2 Journalists of the FEER..... and, and, and.....

And now he is using the very same tools to promote HIMSELF, HIS undoing, and HIS demise as well as HIS red shirt movement as the victims of a "cruel military dictator ship" which is controlled by some "Elite" and this "Elite" control everything else.

Yes, if so then tell the audience why H.E. Sultan Bolkiar, of the tiny Sultanate of Brunei, together with Carlos Helú

Bill Gates, Warren Buffett with some help from Indias other 10 (or so) billionaires rule the world?

With all this power and control this mess could, under this concept of the "giant conspiracy" be stopped by long and the whole place could just do party to consume AND produce much more!

I label this the "Michael Moore" Syndrome, it's the gun, the gun manufacturers, nay the people who buy them, use them, the hunters.. yeah, people who care for their protection, the money, this that... yeah.... he is one of the con-artists who talks all the time about socialist-leftist "values" whilst he takes the utmost care NOT to mention anything close to anything that could be associated with these socialist-leftist values, he uses this as HIS screen and makes LOADS of Money TOO!

Ah' well... yeah all one BIG CONSPIRACY controlled by the Klingons, after all... as if the people on this planet had nothing else to do... it's funny really!

But the OBVIOUS, that this fugitive is rattling the floor boards like freddy kruger in elmstreet is all "not true", and here the fun stops... absolutely! b

Blaming the victims for spilling innocent blood, and killing people, for arson attacks and loads of other destruction peppered with a overdose of violence is some very evil stunt, very, very evil if not the work of madmen!

I hope that ALL of these players are hit by the law as hard as the law can hit these sick people!

Trying to divide a entire nation, just for the sake of fleecing a country is sick, extremely sick!

Sorry, but my very opinion about all this created mess of lies and deceit!

Torching Bangkok is old news, airport takeover is still valid to bring up?

It is hard to keep track of what is in and out with these red fans, they all seem to disagree even amongst themselves...anything to win an argument.

Yoshi, you're the one that keeps dragging Thaksin into it. My hope was that his millions would help fund the poor to get organized, then they would move well beyond him.

At any rate, how does bad-mouthing him in any way justify the continued system of elite overlords in Thailand?

We are seeing a spate of suicides at factories in China; they simply exchanged the forced labor of Mao for the forced labor of so-called capitalism "with Chinese characteristics" -- rather the worst of both worlds.

Yes, I advocate SOCIALISM -- so there. I hope you don't stroke out.

Hold the front page....

Would that be Bolshevik, Menshevik, Reformist, Peronist, Maoist or Thaksinist?

With fries, ketchup, to go?

Also, for the amazing fact that Thailand is a capitalist economy, no cigar.

That the reds have never, ever openly called for a socialist society no prizes there.

And for the fact that the reds do not have one economic demand to put in a non-existent programme just a burst balloon.

But we can give a ripe banana to the disappointed aspirant journo still needled with the past.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I doubt patronage and corruption, whatever its form, can be truly called capitalism.

As well, even the mighty buck-takes-all US is beginning to (again) realize that uncontrolled capitalism is not the Holy Grail.

Used to be a nice word to trot out to justify any action and scare off the critics (my gawd, they could be labeled socialists or something!). You might want to save you condescension for the sweatshop owners of Thailand. When does "free enterprise" actually become slavery?

Sorry, but more than an aspirant. Spent the time since working for real companies. The Nation was a briefly interesting, but inconsequential, wave along the journey. Just pointing out that as a "journalist", Yun might have done better as owner of a pineapple cannery.

Somehow seems to be looking for a form of unexploitative capitalism under Thaksin's patronage.

Now that's analysis for you.

Working for Thaksin, now that's real corruption for you.

If you want a cleaner more transparent capitalism show us the red programme which fights for this.

There isn't one.

Be sure to wave.

It's ok, chaoyang, Yoshi has a job to do. His line manager Publicus has ordered him to up the ante.

:)

Upping the ante was something the reds did when they tried to torch parts of Bangkok.

I think it was later this month that some forum reds were promising a Terminator 'We'll be back' number.

Until then trying to break the visible umbilical cord to the red and black violence and paymaster Thaksin.

Poorly.

Torching Bangkok is now old news, just like the airport occupation. Bangkok is back to normal now. Time to consult your line manager Publicus, Yoshi. If you're not careful, you could be out of a job.

Well you are showing you haven't seen things too clearly

with these continued comments trying to link Yoshi to Publicus.

No connection there, just maybe some similar points of view.

Wow, that's some deep stuff there Yoshi-Madoff. Trying to show you can read a history book or what by throwing out some labels? But the last part doesn't even meet your opening, albeit poor, standard. It's just lame. Actually Yoshi-Belly, it's just nonsense.

And please stop making my comments bold. If you want to reply to certain aspects, use accepted polite practices.

Guys, I dismiss and/or am only amused by discussion board groupies who actually have the time to follow around one single poster to recite the same single, Johnny one note theme and message. This one however, is trying a new tact, i.e., to try to expand his focus to include other posters in efforts on the behalf of Thaksin the Torch of Bangkok. With the proclaimed Red Terminator statement of  "We'll be back" June 24th, the Red operatives here are attempting to put the hound dogs such as myself who are hot on their trail, cornering them for years now, into disarray or on the defensive. Don't feed the trolls.

I'm looking at the burned out ruins in central Bangkok and keeping in the forefront of my mind the menacingly threatened next round of Red destruction by design of June 24th onwards. Beginning June 24th, the poster no doubt will be in the forefront of defending the further burning of Bangkok. In short, during the past two years at TVF the Thaksin torch of terrorism has been passed from one poster to another, and to another, then to a menacing other, and to yet another to the present. All have been failures. I strongly suspect the present shadower won't be the last.

You are whinging yet again. You continually make crazy accusations against posters who don't sing from the 'correct' hymn sheet (you recently accused me of being personally involved in an arson plot to burn Thailand down, remember?), but when your blatant propaganda is flagged up you squeal like a big baby. And yet again you are insinuating that posters on here are in some way involved in arson. Do you have any respect for TV at all? Are you trying to drag TV into a damaging libel case? If you must insist on using first class internet resources such as TV to spew your propaganda, at least show some respect to said resources.

My Lord you're verbose, but for all the words, your meaning is far from clear. You lack precision in your writing and ideas. Try to cut it -- or perhaps yourself -- down to size.

Hyphens ahoy!

Its not so surprising that our T-shirt socialists, when asked what type of socialist are you? get all embarrassed and refuse to answer.

The labels referred to are distinct and important.

Our friend appears not to know one sort of socialism from another (and lets face it some think they are socialists because they read the Guardian and the occasional copy of SW)

No doubt assumes that there is a 'left' for everybody to fit into including Thaksin and his reds (how big a tent is that?)

...and probably wouldn't know what Poujadism is either.
