Featured Replies

I was just in Pattaya from May 7 until May 21. Back at work now, siiiigh. I keep seeing news articles stating that Bangkok and 23 provinces are on curfew, but I have never seen a list of those 23 provinces. Can anybody provide a link or a list?

Thanks

Basically, the northern provinces sympathetic to the democracy movement.

And who can blame them.

The poor vote, if it were allowed, would keep the gap between rich and poor in check naturally by favouring poor-friendly policies such as health care, etc.

Unfortunately, like North Korea, the military has run of the country.

Thanks. Never saw that in writing any where the two nights of curfew I experienced May 19, 20 or a list or a reference . I cut my vacation short because of the First two nights of Curfew. Thailand did not get any more of my time or money. Will go back for trip 11 later this year, maybe.

I loved the 7-11 on second road near Soi 11. Put up newspapers that only partially blocked the windows and doors and stayed open. Such a joke.

Still sad to see the military in charge. Well, the Redshirts should have done something back in 2006.
