hi, what documents do i need to get a letter of residency? my name is not on the rental agreement.

i believe that the UK embassy can get you one, and you do not need any paperwork. you just sweath an oath. is this true~?

btw, i am on a 60 day tourist day visa, not sure if that has anything to do with it

All I needed was a reliable witness (senior teacher from the school I worked at, who was also the owner of my house) to come along to the Amphoe and confirm that the name and address I gave were correct. I don't think she had the blue book (to say she owned the house) but I have heard someone else say they sometimes ask for it.

That was on a Non B with a work permit though. You might have problems claiming that you are resident somewhere but on a tourist visa.

You cannot swear on Oath at the British Embassy.

If you register with the Embassy things are easier, look at their website.

Get a letter from your Condo owner, stamped and everything it might help.
