Where To Buy Rabbits For Eating?

Featured Replies

The last time I eat rabbits is now 3 years ago. I have ook at several markets in Pattaya, but they sale only small pet rabbits. If you take out the skin you have only a small peace same a chickenleg.

Someone have a suggestion where to buy a really good rabbit (2-3 kg) for eating?

It don't must be so big same this one: :)

Last time I checked the royal project was selling rabbit meat. I have seen it in Chiang Mai in the freezer section of Rim Ping Supermarket. Most likely, at least one other supermarket in Bangkok is selling it as well.

No idea for Pattaya... But I do know that a few years ago there was a Begian guy in Chiang Mai who had a rabbit "farm"... I'll ask friends of mine who have restaurants and will get back to you.

No idea for Pattaya?

Makro has them deep frozen, rather skinny but very tasty.

I saw rabbit at our Makro.... near the deer meat.

It seems like Makro Nakhon Sawan has all types of meat in the frozen food section across from the milk -cheese section, last time I was their they had alligator meat, ostrich meat, wild boar meat, whole body suckling pig, etc.

Seems that would be a good place to look.

Cheers: :)
