jack2964
From Phu Khieo Wildlife Sanctuary. This female had a young tagging along. Both were in the shallows of a lake. I wouldn't have paid anymore attention if not for the nasty wound near her chest.

Whale
It a completely Thai production with only two non-Thais involved ( the narrator and the director for this particular sequence set ). Everything else, filming, score, everything done by Thai Nationals. All the footage had been showing on Thai PBS in a different cut before thye did this cut for NG. I think its wondrous. The production company is called Green Asia Production. They are working on a new project now - no idea what it is though. Its bound to be really special, these guys are world class.

sunshine51
another northern bug... near Pai Hot springs.... Nice shot SJ....these critters are down in Ranong also and...they're also on Bali...saw one early this morning flying about 3 inches above the floor of our digs here. They look like a bee or wasp but have no stinger & the missus tells me they're a type of fly. I'd love to know more about them. Best shot I've ever seen of one SJ...I've tried to no avail.
