the links say it is raing in samui ..... i cant see any rain?

Well there was, last evening, yes a slight, slight drizzle, a few droplets, (Maenam/Boput) but a huge thunder cloud in the south/southwest of the island, and southeast OFF the island, viewed from a beach chair at Ark-Bar.... there was (remote) but there was lightning!

Does one expect weather reports like this, or more precise, then this?

We're in Namuang and had a lot of thunderstorms the last two weeks, with at times heavy rain. I'm pretty sure it's not been like this all over the island, the rest of the time its been HOT!

Samui weather and info blog has daily weather updates and by now a 3 year archive.

The forecast looks good and a little bit of rain is not that unusual this time of the year. This rain would be a tropical shower rather than all day long rain like we can get during the rainy season around November.

most of the temp guages i read have marked at 32 which is just over the normal 28 for samui:) imho 40+++ is hot hot hot
