Translating Official Documents

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I need to translate some officially issued Thai documents into English. Just wanted to know, do I have to use an officially registered translator, or can I translate them myself and then pop on down to Consular Affairs near the airport and have them certify the translations.

Also, does anyone know if Thai Embassys abroad will certify Thai to English translations? I know embassys will certify english to thai translations, but it isn't clear if they do engish to thai.

Is there anything else I should know about translating documents?

Cheers

Samran

Yes, I've seen a thai friend of mine had them certified(thai to english) by the Thai Embassy in HK.
