I saw this picture and it got me thinking about the muppets again...

My favorite muppet has got to be "beaker"... used to crack me up so much..(in fact looking at him in the picture, he seems to bear a resemblence to Scampy:w00t: )

Also got a soft spot for "swedish chef"...

'Fraid they are. Jim Henson and Frank Oz first devised their puppets for Sesame Street and called them 'Muppets'. 'The Muppet Show' was made in response to the popularity of the characters, but for copyright reasons they didn't use Bert, Ernie etc.

And for me its got to be Gonzo, Sam the American Eagle and Sweetums.

Never liked them, I always thought they were a "Corny Americanism", even at the age of 6
