I want to be come a monk before i get married but i don't have much of vacation times.

Can i become a monk for one day?

Not sure about a day but I know of a thai man aged about 50 who entered the wat supposedly for the rest of his life and was back home in a week.

Excatly... and once you cross that border, nothing can bring you back to this world... You try to come back, you'll end up destroying yourself.
