Thai Labour Law On Workers That Strike

Featured Replies

I can't find any information on what my options are if my employees strike. I assume that if they refuse to work for min 3 days I can then fire them without pay?

Has anyone ever faced this problem?

No experience in strike, but firing employee in Thailand is best done with the assistance of a lawyer.

You could contact the labour department (in Thai), as they certainly can advise you what to avoid doing.

How many people involved? Any Union?

No union associated with our company. Is there such a thing as a union in Thailand?
