Above Big 1 there's a sign up for 9,000 / month. First (maybe second) soi on the left from Karon circle. Don't know if it includes electric and water.

If you are looking for a 2 bedroom house there are more vacant all the time in the Soi i am in, 2 Aussies just vacated one opposite

me, they were paying !0000 a month plus electricity and water but you have your own meters and pay direct so its not expensive.

Its in Chalong about 10 minutes ride to Kata, PM me if you are interested.

My god, what do you get for that, are these like thai style rooms and places, i'd like a description, even some pictures, i have friends that stay in these 10,000 baht houses, to me there just surviving, not living!!!!!

before you come back with your "it's OK for you replies"please again just do your investigations and homework, for a extra couple of quid i've found my mewbie friends to phuket beautiful seaview places

As per usual you have put your mouth into gear before your mind again, i did not say i paid 10000 baht a month but i do not pay a lot more.

I lived in a sea-view apartment with a large swimming pool before i shifted and i prefer living here and my wife does also.

The prices of rental accommodation are dropping all the time, supply far exceeds demand, its something you don't seem to notice.

The estate is fairly new and is always clean, we have excellent neighbors both expats and Thais.

I had a good look around before we rented here and could have paid a lot more for a similar house.

In a previous post you said you were a developer at one stage.

Lickers, the name of the place is Rattana Beach. I imagine it's really loud.

I also saw a sign on the south Kata road that joins with Patak road two days ago for a monthly rental - my friend rented a place in the area last low season for 10-12,000 baht.

Lastly, on Taina road above 7-11 there's a guesthouse. I think, but am not positive, a few months ago they were renting somewhere in the same range. I stayed here once.

Best thing perhaps, is to walk Patak road. There are tons of sois with low prices.

Well for 10k got a lovely apartment on patak road...... balcony view of the beach........ wifi, aircon, cable tv............ secure parking............ as stated b4 supply is outstripping demand .............. so its bargain basement time for property rentals............ all the places we looked at we very negotiable.

Perhaps your "mewbie" friends as you call them would be more grateful if you opened your eyes and helped them save a few quid rather than spend a few quid more!!!!!
