House Contents Insurance

Featured Replies

Greetings,

We are an English family returning to Bangkok next month after an absence of a couple of years. We are moving into a mooban in BangNa which has the standard uniforms on the gate. I've searched the forum and can see lots of information on house (buildings) and car insurance but very little on contents only insurance.

Has anyone got any personal recommendations for a reputable company offering decent house (contents only) insurance ? Just looking for coverage for our electrical gear, wife's jewellery, clothes etc.

Thanks in advance...

From your post can we presume you will be renting ? If you are then ask the Owner for a copy of his insurance as it may cover your items.

However should the Owner not have insurance then you will need to take the 'buildings' cover as well as the 'contents' because you will be responsible for the building should there be an accident.

Thanks. Will do. I will use the service if not covered by the landlord.
