3 Bodies Washed Up On Pattaya Beaches Over The Weekend

Featured Replies

Three partially decomposed bodies have washed-up on separate Pattaya beaches over the weekend. Two of the bodies, believed to have been in the water for several weeks, are thought to have been dumped at sea as part of the same incident.

Does anyone know what the murder rate in Pattaya is? Are statistics even compiled?

I bet the unsolved murders pile is almost exactly the same size as the murders pile (and the missing persons reports)down at Pattaya nick.

In my country, the police ask the commercial trawlers, who can usually give a good indication of where the seawater was 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks ago etc, which depends on sea currents, tides, and weather/wind conditions. This helps the police search, and the bodies are usually identified quickly, even if coming from another country.

RIP to the unfortunate people concerned.

Sadly "in my country" is not applicable in the Kingdom.

Very disturbing story showing Pattaya in a completely different light.

Is that sarcasm?

I'm not sure

Well if you are not sure I certainly can't be. Regarding those skeletons, I am sure some forensic official can determine something

Rather misleading headline considering NONE of the skeletons were actually washed up on Pattaya Beach??

Burmese fishermen, maybe? The ones they don't want to pay.

Or drug deals gone bad. Who knows.

Certainly not the police.

Very possibly fishermen of some sort - considering the storm we had in the bay a week past friday.
