First visit was for a week in 1964 and then on to Australia and New Zealand.

Returned in 1966 and have lived and worked here ever since. Best thing that could have happened to me.

You and I have certainly taken different paths to our life's dreams of a full life in Thailand. While I was busy working in, living in, or visiting 39 countries and all 50 states validating my quest for "seeing the world", I could have just returned to Thailand for good soon after I retired from the military in Feb 1975.

I do hope we can meet and spend enough time together to hear all your tales of travel from 1964-present.

It's probably best to get the wanderlust out of your system first. The way to have the best of both worlds is to use Thailand as a base for other trips. That way home is always where the heart is...

more than 20 visits (first in 1988 I think) ... each time a lil bit longer and longer (last time nov 2004 - apr 2005) ... but STILL not 100% sure if Los will be my future country ... whatachicken I am ...

Was here for 2 months 2 years ago.

Went back home for a year.

Came back with 2 pieces of luggage and a bass guitar.

I gave away all the rest of my belongings to family, friends and people in need.

Just celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary

First arrived at the beginning of 2002 but have spent large chunks of time there and worked all over.

I've flown to Thailand several times since from London, Africa, Singapore and Sydney and it's always nice to arrive.

Still don't know if I'll settle for good.

As much as I'd like to, my ideal woman is here in Lancashire so I have to decide what is better.
