People never heard of Sun Dogs. Common when a change of weather is coming. Oh look, today all those clouds are disappearing and a clear blue sky.

maybe your wife had 4 sons from a previous life and she's seeing them now:whistling:

Maybe not everyone's wifes/gf's do the same as yours.. :whistling:

Sisaket experienced the same a week ago. They showed it on the news with the sun dogs explanation and mentioned ice in the atmosphere causing it. There was the large sun in the middle with smaller ones to the side and above.

I hear that up there in Nong Khai they have these fire dragon thingys that come out of the Mekong River once a year. Nothing to do with the sun apparently.

Those fire thingy's have nothing to do with the sun either. :) I know for sure it happened on maybe the 19th or 20th. I missed it but most of the wife's family saw it. Later that night I watched the news story on it.

Interesting stuff. Found a video clip of last week's sun dog in Sisaket on CH7 news. Apparently it took place on Saturday 19th.

From the same news source:

Video of the four suns phenomenom in Sisaket Province

Yesterday villagers were witness to the amazing 3 suns phenomenom (also called a sun dog), visible in the Northern sky in the vicinity of Sisaket Railway Station.

At the same time, villagers in Amphur Yang Chum Noi in Sisaket province also filmed a sun dog with four apparent suns. They were about the size of a coconut and could be seen clearly with the naked eye.

Mr Deung Butsabong, aged 86, village sage, believes that it's a bad omen of things to come. These could be political or to do with the weather like a drought and he asked everyone to make merit to ward off any bad luck.
