New Farang Hangout In Nathon

Coming back from a delivery in Lippa Noi I spotted a sign for fish and chips in Nathon. As you come round the corner by the seafront where they usually set up the helmet checks. Pulled over and found a fellow Scouse expat. :oNice little bar, right on the seafront and good grub as well. The fish went down a treat. You may find some pies on the menu soon as well. The one thing that has been missing in Nathon is a farang type bar where you can get some cheap food, some cold beers and and have a bit of a crack. I know a few mates that live that way will be calling in as well. So if you are looking for a cold beer and a friendly face drop in and say hello to another Steve at Luckys restaurant, on the right as you go round the bend. NICE!!!!!

He also had some very reasonable wines in there as well. Going to try the Mangosteen one next time I'm passing

Try The Penang next time.....I would have to say the Best I have ever eaten, certainly on Samui.

About time as well. When I moved here from the Bangrak area I missed having a bar where you could drop in for a beer and chat about the F1, the state of Blighty and just a general moan The owner Steve is a nice guy and the food was tops. He is putting the sponsors pies on the menu as well so don't have to trek half way round the island for my weekly pie fix now As I was there he also took delivery of a nice new pizza oven. Thats the other thing that is lacking this way, a good pizza and he is on about starting a delivery service as well. Nice one

Just to confirm to all those that side of the island we will be supplying Steve with our pies and curries from next week. I have rather shot myself in the foot as I wont be seeing as much of H2o and now can't shanghai him into dropping off my deliveries that side of the island when he calls in for his order. I also notice that unlike ya typical Scouse his Wi-Fi is free. what's the world coming to. A Scouse giving something away for free. The shame of it :jap:

Its English humour so if you don't get it I presume you are not from there. A scouse is from Liverpool, A Jock is from Scotland and if you are from Hartlepool you are a monkey hanger in London I am a Northern monkey and they are soft southern shandy drinking nancys.. In the UK Scousers have a reputation as being dodgy hence the giving away free wi fi. All this is in good humour and is a British thing. hence boaters reply that the reason he is giving it away is he is nicking it from next door

Thats what I was saying about this type of crack was missing in Nathon. Just hurry up with the pizza delivery as last night I could have murdered one. :jap:
