There's a small skin clinic on the main moat road just north of Tapae that someone recommended to me some time ago. Dr there correctly diagnosed and treated my problem when others failed. Can't remember the name though. It's been there many years and I think the dr is well repsected. If you start at the Montri Hotel at Tapae gate walk north on the same side as the Montri for maybe 2-3 blocks (probably not more than 200 m). It's a small black-looking clinic (sign only in Thai) on the main road. Dr starts about 18:00, but the clinic receptionist is there from about 16:30 when she hands out numbers to queue for the doctor, so get there early as possible as it's pretty popular palce.

That the same skin doctor who work at Hospital Ram- yet prices a little less at the clinic. Not much of a discount however- might as well go to RAM- IMO.

Also they perform laser & do work on scars. As I had work done on several scars from a motorbike accident. Got rid of all the redness from the scars, yet it difficult to smooth out a large scars. Just cover with tattoos, does the job. Ends up being quite a few bt over time- yet far cheaper than Aussie.

Cortisone (Pharmacy) will get rid of nearly all redness from rashes, unless an allergy. Goto RAM- IMO.

This guy has been highly recommended for many years - near The Cafe restaurant.

Hi name is Dr. Siri. He also has an office at Sripat.

Recently he has added "Dermatologist" in English on the window front of his Moon Muang clinic. You can't miss the clinic - unless the metal door is down of course.

Yes and fluent english- he is very good- probably better than any other skin doctor I been to in Aussie.

I used to see a Dermatologist on Phrapokklao Road just up from the Thai Airways office. He was good. Spoke excellent English. Had some diplomas from UCSF, and is a professor at CMU hospital during the day. He has a very popular practice.

Dr. Vachiraporn, MSc. Dermatology, Boston University.

Fluent English and excellent results. Ram Hospital.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.

I highly recommend her as well. Consulted her for what I was afraid might be melanoma. Had two deep excisions done by Dr. Vachiraporn. Her English skills are great and she is on par with fair skin problems.

Dr Siri (dermatologist): 199 Moonmuang Road, 053 357085 for all things Skin related, has also got an amazing acne cure which keeps all the local kids going back for more every week.

What about some self-medication ?

rash can come from stress,

can come from heat,

can come from irration

find something to soothen the itching

i use oil from siribuncha company after testing several things recommended by my Thai family

this is the url : http://www.siribuncha.com/thai/r.html the 120 ml plastic bottle can be bought for about 20 THB in

the pharmacie in the Makro at Chang Wattana Bangkok

use vitamin-C to help your skin to recover

take a rest

good luck, :jap:
