I'm after a D17 crank from a Honda Civic/City 2001-2005, does anyone know where I could get one? As far as I can see (here in CM) there aren't really any breakers yards and if there are, they just rebuild totalled cars/trucks and (scarily) put them back on the road.

I'm not going to Honda direct as I want to keep both kidneys, any ideas?

It can be anywhere in Thailand, I have some contacts dotted around the whole country which could collect and send on.

Have you tried the big auto dismantlers on the superhighway (inbetween Tesco Kamthieng and Chang Phuak Rd, on the Lampang bound lanes)? Failing that, I'd suggest calling into one of the farang-friendly mechanics - there's a couple that get good reviews in the CM forums..
