Hair Clippers / Beard & Mustache Trimmers ?

I'm moving to Bangkok next month and am wondering if I will have any trouble finding a couple of things. First, I've cut my own hair for many years now and would like to continue once I move.

Are hair clippers w/ various guards hard to find there?

What about beard and mustache trimmers?

Would it be better to bring my current ones or wait and get them once I'm there? I would have to get a voltage converter if I bring them.

Hair and beard trimmers can be purchased across the world , what I would suggest you bring is one of those small , hand held trimmers for ear and nose hair , good for around the ears also , when a friend saw mine , he searched BKK and could not find one , I brought one for him from my next trip back to civilisation .

I purchased a Braun version of this at Siam Paragon Department store. Many different tools for trimming - none that noticed would work well for your arse (see the thread on this for more info).

Check out the Thai beauty stores, they usually have all sorts of hair clippers as well, including beard and nose hair trimmers.

impossible to find here. There just isn't enough beauty salons/barbers to support the market, sorry.

The big beauty shop next to Tukcom in South Pattaya have a large selection. Try there if you can't find it anywhere else in Thailand.
