Shirts In Patong For The Larger Farang

Featured Replies

Hi!

I'm getting ready to go to some job interviews, on inspecting my wardrobe I discovered that I'd lost my white long-sleeved work shirts that went with the rest of my interview outfit :(

In Thai sizes I seem to rate as XXXL - I went trawling around Jungceylon looking for something suitable, but everything was in Thai sizes. It doesn't have to be a beautiful designer silk shirt, just a nice plain cotton work shirt as worn in the UK would do me very nicely.

Can anybody offer any suggestions where I could go in Patong (or Kamala)?

Thanks!

Why not just have some shirts made to measure. Not much money and better assurance of fit.

What sort of price would I be looking at for a made-to-measure cotton log-sleeved shirt? I'm well aware that not every tailor in Phuket wants to offer their customers the best possible value for money :) An idea on price would help me with the haggling!

Go to 3 different tailors and get prices....then u would have an idea on cost...I have had causal shirts mae at the tailor opposite See Haag restaurant (in the same soi that Yen restaurant is)...he did a credible for a credible price
