Dengue Fever is a six-member band from Los Angeles who combine Cambodian pop music and lyrics with psychedelic rock. The band was formed in 2001 by Ethan Holtzman and his brother Zac after Ethan was inspired by a trip to Cambodia. As Ethan and Zac were searching for a vocalist to sing in Khmer, lead singer Chhom Nimol was discovered in a nightclub in the Little Phnom Penh area of Long Beach. She was already a well-known karaoke singer in Cambodia, but decided to move to the United States.

Amazing coolness might be not the first thing you expect from medival musical instruments. But French musician Guilhem Desq and his electrified hurdy gurdy creates sounds that might get you goose bumps, especially after 2 minutes when combined with a chaos pad.

Mike Cooper - Life And Death In Paradise

Astronauts - In My Direction

Ah classic stuff, harking back to a long lost era.

Even better NZs answer to the TV personalities.

Spizzenergi - Where´s captain Kirk

Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead

Tiny nong Prang from Pattaya, great moralm singer who should have made it big, lots like her around. Sometimes it's their poor contacts, prima donna attitude, or just bad luck.

One of my favourite songs of all time...
