kimamey
Killing yourself solves nothing. Actually it does. In fact it solves everything for the person or persons involved but is very hard for those left behind. One poster said the people close to them should have know and done something about it. Not so easy in practice. Sometimes there are clues such as putting their affairs in order or suddenly seeming less depressed or worried because they know it will be over soon. Sometimes their last goodbye is a little different because they know it's the last. These things can be clear and obvious after the event but you're not always looking for them and some like the lifting of depression are confusing since that's the very thing you want to happen. Even if you think you've spotted all the clues can you stop them? Maybe not as to get to this stage they may be seeing things quite differently than you because they are trying to get away from their problems and you're trying to stop them. Aside from the emotional aspects it's possible that they will hide the true extent and nature of the problems. Despite what is often said on this forum loss of face affects other nationalities as well as Thai. All you can really do is be there for them and support them if you can. If in the end this fails then the friends and family need as much support and understanding. Let's hope these unfortunate family members and friends get it. electau
It takes a very brave man (person) to commit suicide. A persons life belongs to that person and to no one else.
