Need Visa For Uk ?

Hi, I'm from belgium and live in Thailand, i would like to go to Europe for vaccation for 3 weeks with my thai gf and his daughter, do i need a Belgium visa and a UK visa for her ? Can i get a UK visa in Phuket ? Thanks

As I understand it, you will need a visa for both, one for the UK and one for Belgium, although technically they are both European Union it seems to be that for entering the UK you need a visa. To my knowledge the only place to get a UK visa is in Bangkok. You will need to support any application in writing.

That's correct, your girlfriend and daughter will each need a Schengen Visa obtained from the country where you first enter the Schengen area, as the UK is not in the Schengen Area they will need a separate visa.

For the UK visa they will need to apply in Bangkok and physically attend the Visa Application Centre for their biometric details to be taken, the VFS website gives a lot of useful information http://www.vfs-uk-th.com/ .

Assuming you will be entering the Schengen Area via Belgium then apply here http://www.diplomatie.be/bangkok/default.asp?id=28&ACT=5&content=18&mnu=28 again it's in Bangkok, once they have their Schengen Visa they can travel anywhere in the Schengen Area, if you are entering via another Schengen State the Google the relevant Embassy.
