Trying To Find "Rock"

Featured Replies

A friend of mine who runs a motorcycle repair shop in Surin is looking for for guy that goes by the name "ROCK".

He has or had a Yamaha Virago, Blue in color and I knew him when I lived in Burirum but I have been away for over 4 years now.

Rock was an Australian if I remember correctly.

The guy with the shop is MOO and anyone with a big bike probably knows him, good guy and does outstanding work for very cheap. Moo needs to know where Rock lives so he can go and talk with Rocks wife and do something about the bike, not sure.

Moo called me this morning asking if I knew where Rock lived but since I have not been in that area for so long I have no idea.

Any of you guys that know Moo, please get with him and help him find Rock or Rocks place.

Thanks

Dan

From a personal point of view I would never get involved in passing out this sort of information, you have no real idea why "Moo" needs to know.

Understand and agree, however in this case I know both parties personally and there is nothing bad at all in this I assure you.

I never went to Rocks place as we always met somewhere for our bike rides like in Surin, Burirum etc..Moo thought I had been to Rocks house but I never did even though I was asked on numerous occasions.

Just a friend trying to help another friend find one of my past friends.

Hope this clears up any misconceptions.

Cheers

I posted this a while ago on the Surin local forum and hope it helps.......

This afternoon, I met Rocky (at Staffords) who is quite an Ozzy character and is selling his two Virago 400's (shaft drive!)

One is going for 65k and the other which has been fully rechromed is going for 90K. BOTH have green books and I am told in full working order. Although Rocky is going back to OZ in a few days, I think Gary at Presat can arrange a viewing if anyone is interested.

if you know where "Rock: is, may I suggest that rather than giving info to strangers as to the location of " Rock" , you inform Rock that" so ans so" is looking for him, and if Rock wants to be found, he can get in touch with "so and so"
