Vaccinations At Suvarnabuhmi

Featured Replies

I have to travel to a country for which I need a Yellow Fever Vaccination. I have been told that I can get it at the Airport, however I can get no confirmation when I telephone various numbers at the airport (keep getting transferred from one section to another). Can anyone confirm that it is possible and where do I go. I believe that it costs 550 baht.

Alternatively I have been told I can get it at BKK Immigration but alas, same problem.

Don't know about at the airport but I got vaccines at the Thai Red Cross at very reasonable prices. With the new airport train it is quick and easy and very cheap. Take the airport train local to Phaya Thai Skytrain station(15baht/ 30 minute ride) Take the sky train towards ON Nut and get of at Siam station(10 minutes). Change trains to go towards Wongwian Yai and get of at Sala Dang( 10 min ride) and walk to the Thai Red Cross( 10 min walk). The vaccine clinic is in the building in front of the snake farm.

We got yellow fever vaccinations at the same Thai Red Cross on Henri Dunant Road a couple of weeks back. Had to pay Baht 1,000 each for the bottle of vaccine (one bottle per person), the rest was free. All very nice any easy with no queues as it seems not many folk have to get yellow fever vaccinations.

You can get a Yellow Fever vaccination at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) only on arrival at health control BEFORE Immigration, neither afterwards nor at departure it's possible.
