I sent a PM to another member and the URL was removed from it. Why?

You're not allowed to post some URLs in forum posts, signatures and a few other places - can't see the harm in a URL going into a PM though, so I doubt if it would have been deliberately removed. Perhaps a slight glitch with the new forum software?
