August 29, 201015 yr I use an AIS prepaid "Super 3G" USB - which is generally not that easy to connect and drops from time to time - however my main problem is that often it interferes with the touch pad and pointer on my Acer laptop. The pointer goes crazy and can scarcely be controlled at all - I end up having to pull the USB out and restart. Are others having this problem and is there some sort of shield that can be used to reduce the interference? Thanks in advance
August 29, 201015 yr I'm on AIS 3G air card USB with an Acer 5050 laptop. Never had the problem your having. Go talk to an Acer Repair Center. They have sorted out a few problem s for me about the air card where AIS was useless. Edited August 29, 201015 yr by gotlost
November 30, 201015 yr Since you where so helpful in replying to my post I thought I would do the same to your question and and simply tell you are probably just a idiot who doesn't realize he's accidentally triggering the trackpad without knowing it while you type your useful responses on Thai visa. There is no airwave interference problem between the AIS 3g aircard and your trackpad. You can buy a USB extension cord and move the ais 3g modem away from your actual computer. This has the added benefit of allowing for better reception of 3g. You could also use an external mouse and disable the trackpad entirely. It's likely your trackpad is old and might need to be replaced. Also realize that if you are not in Chonburi, or Chiang Mai you are not getting 3g service from AIS. Useful responses are always welcome.
