Well it could not have gone much better. We had a brief shower right after everyone got there.A non event.B) The weather was great for this time of year. :) We had 6? newbies. Big? J. with his big son and wife. They showed us class by bringing real plates not the paper and plastic we are used to. :D Barry. from WCH also had three in attendance which was most welcome. Maybe Don or Rico will show up next. It goes without saying that that the food was fabulous, as usual. Always the best meal of the month for me. How did someone (Kd?) know that I needed gravy for my mashed potato's. Several great brand new dishes as well. Hope someone got pictures

I was deeply disappointed at todays' PotLuck. Despite strenuous efforts I was unable to sample more than a quarter of what was on offer. Too much good food. I started from the right hand side of the groaning table (well, it would have groaned if it hadn't been made of concrete), but only got 2 feet along before my plate was overflowing. This is unfair.

Lots of chatter, a brief foray into the art of bocci/boule/petanque, new faces - all made for a nice relaxing afternoon.

See you all tomorrow. We will see if our weather lucky streak continues. Lots of cover nonetheless.B)

We can always play a very fast game of Pooh sticks on the NamKok - it's some flow at the moment.

I do not know if the ad choices add on this page "Ask a doctor on line now...." is a comment on those who play it.

Another very pleasant afternoon and a good turnout. Excellent apple crumble, meat loaf , kebabs and nutty and oaty bread among the many offerings to the stomach gods. The namKok was still in mighty flow and the sun shone.

A little surprised by the relatively large turnout but I like those good surprises. We had two new families, which, I think, included our first all Thai family(welcome) as well as a long lost regular. Even a visiting mother. A lot more kids also as two large pizzas vanished quickly. The food spread was indeed bountiful. Hope someone got a picture of the food.B)

The venue for the one year anniversary of the CR TV Pot Luck Picnic will return to the CR Ag. Research Center. October 30, 13:00. All the paperwork has been presented , gifts given and permissions have been obtained. Keep in mind that we have a backup location now in the event of the unforeseeable but the weather looks like it will be smooth sailing from now on. Below is a link to the two sites for any newcomers. As always, bring food, picnic equipment. and a smile.:)

Had a great time and yes, food was really good. Sure like those beans and sorry, but went back for more. My wife Lisa also enjoyed it as it was a chance to speak to other poor women married to farang as well :whistling: . Seems I scored about average in the husband scale, altho high in the handsome scale HaHaHa!!

Thank you all for a nice friendly visit, will do it again.

Another great afternoon. We had about 26? for our return to our original site and six? new guests. Welcome. . Even had two bike riders, a first? The weather and the food was obviously perfect. The only downside was some pesky ants. I will come prepared next time.

Never mind....one day they will be able to afford to put a motor on the bikes.

Ants belong at picnics don't they?
