Rin, can I sign-up on the Star Alliance web-site for this promotion as I can't see anything there at the moment?

Oops......Sorry...missed it.

Rather than hanging about I took the opportunity of giving Sean a call.

Unfortunately in order to benefit from this promotion he tells me you had to sign up for it anytime over the last 18 months.

It was all down to some status decision mistakes that were made world wide between Star Alliance and the member airlines-Thai-Sing-US-Lufti-BMi..etc last year(dont know what exactly) and he followed up saying that they set this one up as as sort of compensation factor/promo but it closed a couple of weeks ago............Sorry.

He did however say contact them as they would/should/maybe be having future incentives.

He also recons that the ROC-I club should have told you about it.TIT

Another thing he (ie.Star Alliance) seems a bit confused with the decision by some some (TG)airlines are restricting miles ..even on cheap tickets...dont recons thats kosher....worth checking out.

Finally he also (S.A.) confirms that all milage is recordable...ie fly US Airlines and the miles can go on your ROC-I account. :o

Sign up for Star Alliance and they shoot you promotions and ways to earn miles all the time.
