Multi-Process Welder:
While it is just possible that someone has developed a laser welder that is also a TIG welder, DMK has not according to their website. The technologies are totally different. As to handheld units the majority of smaller units are handheld. As to portable, few if any are portable, they are transportable. The costs are in the hundreds of thousands Baht and all are strictly workshop use only. -

Report Vietnam Plans Motorbike Emission Standards for Major Cities by 2027
File photo for reference only Vietnam's capital, Hanoi, and its largest city, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), may begin enforcing motorbike emission standards in 2027 as part of efforts to tackle air pollution. According to a government plan, four additional cities—Hai Phong, Da Nang, Can Tho, and Hue—are set to implement these standards starting January 1, 2028. Nationwide enforcement is expected by January 1, 2030, though some areas might adopt the measures earlier based on local environmental needs. The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment proposes that emission standards be determined by the manufacture date of motorbikes to ensure effective outcomes. The Ministry of Construction will manage the evaluation and certification of vehicles for compliance with these standards. Continuous monitoring will be in collaboration with the Ministries of Agriculture and Environment and Public Security. The Ministry of Science and Technology is tasked with the ongoing review and update of national emission standards to keep pace with technological advancements and environmental demands. As of December 2023, Vietnam has over 74.3 million motorbikes, yet current emission standards apply only to cars, not motorbikes. This new initiative marks a significant step towards expanding Vietnam's commitment to reducing air pollution and improving air quality nationwide. Adapted by ASEAN Now from VN Express 2025-05-13 -
