By the way, Los Angeles is said to have the biggest Thai population in the US. I can definitely attest to there being more trappings of Thailand there, such as temples, Thai grocers, and nearly authentic Thai food (just with US produce) than I have seen anywhere else in the US.

Yes, I had a friend in the army who was stationed in Hawaii told me that there were lots of Thais there, and I just found out about Thai Town in L.A. I want her to go back to Thailand when we get a chance just to visit. She hasn't been back in 3yrs maybe, so is she visits some of that homesickness might be dealt with. I know she misses it but she keeps telling me she'll miss fall, and complains about how hot it can get. Sometimes I think she is just being a woman. Love her away!
