ThaiWx 24
Anybody happen to see the wonderful pre-dawn Zodiacal sunrise this morning? I saw "rays" stretch all the way east to west just as the sky was lightening. Absolutely beautiful but believe to dim to catch on my camera. I found this National Geographic link explaining the phenomenon. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2010/09/100909-science-space-zodiacal-light-pyramid-skywatching/
Ricardo 7420
Unfortunately we had a touch of mist, this morning, although it only lasted a half-hour, once the sun got going. Edited September 20, 2010 by Ricardo

Thanks cloudhopper about the website. I'm hoping for another chance to see the Zodiacal lights again and this time try some long exposure camera shots to try and catch it. It doesn't last long so got to be ready. Also, being away from street lights, house porch lights, etc. helps because it's real dim. Cheers.
