Carrefour have been getting rid of staff recently. Quite a few of their buyers who apparently they type who were only in the job because they'd been at the company for a while went in the past week or so. ( According to someone working for one of their main suppliers.)

I think I read a post somewhere recently that Carrefour were leaving Thailand,

maybe.........

There are several groups looking at purchasing Carrefour. The latest rumor is Central Group. I think PTT bagged out. I just hope it isn't Big C!!!!

^It's now down to Tesco and one other group from Singapore, will be decided by the end of this month.

No Thai companies in the bidding now.
