WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. US aircraft carriers: They take on JP fuel often while underway, every few days. And during underway replenishment, the ship gets resupplied often, and in between when they take FFV (Fresh Fruit Veggies). Very rare to run out of specific brands of product in the ship's '7/11' size store. The duration was not an issue and never would be...could have stayed indefinitely and only need to refuel with JP and resupply ordnance and supplies. Any maintenance that is needed can usually be completed without returning to port. This deployment was just an extended normal routine. 30-45 days...555555
