There is a long posting in this forum that contains a lot of nonsense, mostly summed up in this sentence:

"Environment can be saved only if we stop production of most [ more than

99% ] of the consumer goods we are making today."

I thought we could amuse ourselves by making a collection of these nonsense "if" statements, in the hope we can keep the rest of this forum relatively sensible e.g.

- If Jesus had never been crucified, the world would be a better place.

- If Buddha had not been fat, there would be more thin people today.
