just changed mine yesterday. I did have a cool one of this HUGE Pink elephant wearing Sunglasses with two normal zsize human being on their knees worshipping it. I just figured Elephants are respected creatures in thai history and therefore this one made me giggle.

I´ve now changed it after my good colleague and friend gave me a pic of the two of us at the bar I work in.

The name I use Thaibebop, is a play on old jazz (really just my love of music) and Thai music, but also Cowboy Bebop.

So, I picked a pic with Spike Spiegel smoking for me. I don't smoke any more.

I meant to explain that the word 'avatar' comes from Sanskrit, but has taken a new meaning in the world of computers.

As for the purple little monster (it is actually a tooth bacterius from a Norwegian cartoon called Nemi), I got tired of it, maybe because it was just too cute... and too purple.

When I chose my name, I wanted something that made sense in Thai and English, and did not use an avatar for quite a while.

Most posters didn't pick up on the Thai meaning and I got a few comments about being a knight. Picked my avatar to strengthen the English meaning and to obscure the Thai meaning.

Poster with consistently best avatar = Totster (loved the penguins).

Poster with the best name = Neeranam.
