It's nice you can post without the emotive abuse. Well done. Mask-wearing in Asia has evolved in response to air pollution, which has been around a lot longer than COVID. Coronavirus is just icing on the cake. I wear a mask when I consider the situation warrants it. I have not noticed it affects my self-esteem. -

You have perked my curiosity here. Please point out specific place in Thai 2024 tax return form where you: 1. claim a Tax Exemption by providing the evidence that it is a Government Pension, and is only taxable in the UK according to the UK - Thai DTA 2. provide evidence of tax already paid in the UK, that you intend to use to offset any Thai Tax liability. I asked because I looked , and I spotted NO SUCH PLACE. If there is such a place, it might be helpful to many on this forum. And if there is no such place, then while you have good intentions, you are simply incorrect. I can not help but think you are basing your thinking on tax experience from a country outside of Thailand, where it is a Global Taxation system, and not a remitted taxation system. In a remitted taxation system, the Revenue Department nominally only wants to know about foreign remitted income that it can tax. A global tax system wants to know about all of one's global income. -

Google quickly becoming an Indian company? What implications for users?
There is rampant price discrimination, too, I have noticed. For example, it seems that Indian users of SuperGrok pay less than 25 percent of what I would need to pay. Maybe this pricing is being run by the Indians? This is a two-tier pricing model based on what culture one is from. Nobody likes two-tier pricing. But, I can guess that the Indian Culture finds this completely normal. I think it is now far too late to turn the tide and return to the good old days of about a decade ago. There seems to be this strange idea prevalent that the modern world in which we live should be a homogeneous world. That would be OK with me if it was homogeneously Chinese. But not Homogeneously Indian Culture, I would add. I do not think of all cultures the same. I am therefore not an idiot in this respect. Some people have a hard time accepting reality. They would prefer to live in their own dream worlds. -

Its literal meaning is that if you get involved with the Devil you should have the means of keeping your distance. Metaphorically, eating with the Devil is dangerous and you should do it with a long spoon so that you don’t get too close. It’s a lovely idiom and so true – that if you begin to get involved with bad things you will most likely be drawn in, so if you have to deal with bad people you should keep your distance – be very careful not to be drawn into their bad projects. It’s a wonderful image of someone sitting far away from their sinister eating companion, making sure they don’t get too close by, using a long spoon to take their food. Sharing a meal with someone usually means you are already on quite good terms with them or that you want to get to know them better. If you agree to partake of the Devil’s hospitality, you are on dangerous ground and need to beware.
