Micro Vaseovasectomy, The Real Costs If You Know How

After planning to have a MVV done, the day finally arrived.

Went to Chula hospital, loads of sitting around waiting for a private room, then told none available, so had to share with 3 other guys, my Thai is crap but it was a nice stay. Nurses were great and a lot of fun.

Had the Op on Wednesday 20th at 0830, using Spinal Anesthesia, was a little different from the usual knock out stuff.

After the Op the care was good.

Asked for all the stuff so we could pay on Thursday morning, as I was allowed to leave, the nurse presented my wife with the bill, beforehand we had been told that using private clinics would cost 50,000+++, looking on here at the prices quoted was a shock too, but when my wife was presented the bill, she looked astounded, and asked the head Nurse if the amount was correct, the nurse said yes, my wife (not being one to argue) went to the cashier and paid.

The Microvaseovasectomy cost 5922 baht, yes under six thousand baht, all in with the anesthesia and the care. This is cause I had it done during official government hours and had waited for about 1 month to be put on the list.

Have to go back in the first week of November to check if everything is working properly, gonna take a big hamper to the Doctor with an envelope with a few grand in it, then present the nurses with something too, as I had budgeted for around 30,000baht upwards.

If anyone wants a breakdown of the costs I can attach them later.

Oh by the way I had the vasectomy in 1993.

I checked google but could not find what is a micro vaseovasectomy only microVasive vasectomy. Would you mind defining it? I am looking into the vasectomy procedure.
