Can anybody recommend a van rental company on Samui?

Van needs to be covered, secured and capable of carrying about 30 boxes each approximately 1 cubic metre in size?

Self drive or with driver is ok.

Must be able to drive the van off Samui but it will return to Samui.

At 30 cubic meters you are not looking for a van, but for a full load 6-wheel truck. Try Samui Transport just South of Lamai on the ringroad. We did quite some transportation of goods with them in the past and pretty affordable. Once a customer liked to travel with the cargo and that was fine as well...

You might need to use the term "Lorry" .... and not "big truck or van" ....

I had a devil of a time trying to get or explain big truck (6 wheels) ....when I moved from KP & was surprised to learn they use the Brit lingo........Lorry for truck .....

do u mean u want one of those new Japenease cars with auto pilot. i can get u 1 but u might have to wait about 5 years till they invent one.

though i am sure u mean self drive as in yourself drive.

anyway,

for lorries 6 wheels or 10 wheels. u would need a thai driver with a truck liscence. Forangs cannot get these liscence. i can have a look about for u. what size truck u need. the 6 wheels are fine if the boes are not heavy. if u have really heavy boxes u will need a 10 wheel.

they avertise in the magazines maybe in thai visa classifed also.
