Recently my cousin in Australia managed to get some tickets to Japan from Brisbane for 495 AUD about 13,000 THB. I was wondering if there is any places or methods on how to find cheap airfares while in Thailand?

I don't mind the date / where I travel too as long as the airfare is a great price.

I've used Air Asia a lot for travel to most SEA countries but there are a lot of places they don't fly to. Are there any budget airlines that fly Bangkok to Seoul or Tokyo?

He got the deals from Jetstar, i found something on http://www.ana.co.jp/wws/th/e/local/fare/#bkk-jpn Bangkok to Japan for 11,500 which is quite good. It might be getting to cold for a trip there right now.

I am planning for January to do a small circle something like Vietnam, Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Shanghai then back to Bangkok. Any suggestions for this? Any budget airlines for Hong Kong, Taiwan etc. Are there any decent travel agents around that can do some good round trips like this?

Wow...that is a great deal. And you are right, it is probably an off season rate. I use to live in NYC and in January you could get return fares to the UK for like $200. Quadruple that and more during the summer....which is when I would have preferred to go! Thanks for the info!

Jeju Air and Business Air fly from Bangkok to Seoul. But not sure these are reliable airlines.

Vietnam Airlines gets you from Bangkok via Ho Chi Minh City to Seoul or Tokyo for about THB 16,000 incl taxes. Book through agent. Mox Travel is good.
