I have a job interview tomorrow morning and I don't want to be late. Does anyone know how long it takes from Wong Wian Yai BTS station to Mo Chit and/or if taking a taxi there would be any quicker? My job interview isn't until 11.30am and I am planning on timing both journeys tomorrow but I am planning on leaving at 10am and want to make sure i am there in time. Thanks in advance for any replies.

  • Wong Wian Yai BTS to Siam BTS ~ 10 min at the least.
  • Wait to transfer from Siam BTS to Moe Chit line ~ 5 min.
  • Siam BTS to Moe Chit BTS ~ 15 min.

This is taken into account what time of day it is and if there are long lines at Siam BTS terminal then your wait time will be longer. You’ll have to wait for at least 2 BTS trains. Unless you like to feel like a Sardine.

Taxi, forget it. Wrong time of the day.

How far is your job interview from Moe Chit? Since if you might take a bus, or a taxi. Add like at least 30 min. to your journey. It’s better to be early then late. So, I would leave at around 9:30 a.m. at the least.

Wow thanks for such a detailed reply. My job interview is at Native Speaking Kids which is next to (or in) Major Cineplex Ratchayothin. I don't think its too far away from the station but it is not witihn walking distance.

Yes. I used to live not far from there.

If you want to save some more money. Avoid Taxi if it's a busy day.

Take bus 39 blue and white or 59 which is air conditioned and costs more. They will both take you right to Major.

Thanks for your replies. I made it there by taxi in 40 minutes this morning (the traffic was good) and it didn't take much longer coming back by BTS. Thanks again
