canuckamuck
You can get the fresh bah mee type noodles at most fresh markets, and sen lek and sen yai too. Good luck finding fresh fetucini or torellini anywhere though.
WinnieTheKhwai
It's not exactly hard to make right? if it were easy none would eat that dry crap http://allrecipes.co...sta/Detail.aspx Takes some time of course, but that doesn't make it difficult. I don't think the average Thaivisa poster is short on time.. Edited November 1, 2010 by WinnieTheKhwai
DavidOxon
it's never really any good (homemade) unless you can get the correct flour! David
CheGuava
Yes, super SUPER fine ground flour is best. Many would say: 'required'.
mcgriffith
I've seen fresh pasta (imported from Aus and Italy) for sale in the Tops at KSK. The cold case in the far back right side of the store (not the dairy section), with the select cheeses and misc. Stupid prices. Really can't believe they even stock these items. In many years I have never seen anyone shopping in that case at Tops. Once in a while I buy some cheese but who is buying that expensive stuff? It is also a very bad idea environmentally to fly frivolous and unnecessary luxury items around the world. What peopel would enjoy their "CO2-Special" ? I'd say a boycott is in order for items that are very easy to make locally from ingredients that are also locally available.

That would go nicely with your socialist inspired nick
