2010-11-01 21:31:03 GMT+7 (ICT)

HAMILTON (BNO NEWS) -- Bermuda on Monday announced the line-up of Paula Cox's new Cabinet, just days after she was appointed Premier and promised changes on the island.

The new Cabinet will see Paula Cox serve as both Finance Minister and Premier of the British overseas territory. Michael Scott, who served as Minister for Telecommunications under former Premier Ewart Brown, will serve as Attorney General.

Further, Neletha Butterfield will serve as the new Minister of Public Information Services while Walter Roban will become Minister for the Environment.

Delegates to Bermuda's Progressive Labour Party Conference held in Hamilton on Thursday had elected Paula Cox as the new leader of the party and by ascent and in accordance with the Bermuda Constitution Order, Premier Designate of Bermuda. She was later sworn in.
