Gladiator Posted November 4, 2010 Share Posted November 4, 2010 I have tried the various electric deep oil fryers on the market with out much success and have returned to heating the oil, in a very deep saucepan, over gas. What I am now looking for is is an oil thermometer which I can attached to the sauce pan. I have not see any yet in Chiang Mai. has any one bought one and where? Thanks in advance. By-the-way - I had a big success the other evening cooking fish and chips. I used the Yorkshire 'Beer' batter recipe from Google (English fish and chips) Frozen Lined Silver Grunt Fish Fillets - Big from Makro and double fried the chips.
