Good,Honest Car Mechanic In Pattaya?

Featured Replies

I have an overheating problem on my old Nissan nv, and it looks like the head gasket needs replacing although its possible it could be overheating due to something else. Can anyone recommend a good, honest mechanic in the Pattaya area..who will do the job and not add unnecessary work to the bill?...thanks in advance for any feedback

Good Honest Car Mechanic....

Between here and Austria is non.....

Test 1: check the oil....does it look normal

Test 2: open where you fill in the oil when the engine is running....does something different than little oil steam come out?

If that looks correct, look at the thermostat. If you are not sure put it in boiling water, it should complete open.

Most probably it is the reason: Thai solution, take it out. Better solution replace it.

If it looks OK, replace it anyhow and check the pump. Broken water pumps happen sometimes, but not as common as broken thermostat.

Edit: don't open the radiator fill cap with hot engine unless you know what is expecting you (and if you know it, you don't want to do it)

Your nearest " Cockpit " they must have one in sin city.:jap:
