BUSINESSES IN THE SOUTHERN PROVINCES ARE ASKING FOR AID

The Minister of Education has reaffirmed that the government will accelerate its aid to businesses in the three southern provinces, especially in debt management with low interest rates.

Mr. Chaturon Chaisang (จาตุรนต์ ฉายแสง), the Minister of Education, has revealed that he has received requests from businesses in the three southern provinces. The requests include appeals to the government for an extension of debt repayment, valued at approximately twenty billion baht, with a lowered interest rate of 1.5 percent, and a time extension for repayments from one year to three years.

Mr. Chaturon stated that he will push for the government to accelerate its aid to businessmen in the southern provinces, and will do his best to comply with their requests.
